  4. This has been a difficult year for the Chambers Corporation.
  5. I am sure that you all know that the loss of our three
  6. contracts with the United States Air Force, due to the cut-back
  7. in defense appropriations, hurt us substantially.
  8.  
  9. In July,  we had a major decision to make.  The question we
  10. were faced with was whether to let some of our employees go,
  11. or to explore all other possible avenues of cost reduction,
  12. keepi
